Have your kids been curious about role-playing games? Are they into fantasy adventures, strategy, and collaborative game play? Whether they are brand new to the game or a novice with some experience, Role Playing Club is the perfect opportunity for kids to delve into the growing world of table top storytelling games.
Recommended for ages 8–14 years.
Roll for Shoes
In this RPG you start with one skill only: do anything 1. But by the end of the game you’ll be an overpowered beast of a specialist, all based on the choices you make.
Whenever you want to do something in this game, you roll a number of dice determined by the skill you are using—for example, with ‘do anything 1’ you roll one die. Beat what the Game Master rolled and you succeed! Roll all 6s, and you get a new and more powerful skill specific to what you just achieved!

This month we are playing a space adventure, our players taking on the role of a rookie merchant crew doing what they can to survive in the cold depths of the galaxy. What kind of suspicious customers will they meet? What sort of alien life forms exist beyond? Can they fend off the space pirates? Will they be able to afford their ship’s next monthly payment? It all comes down to the choices the players make.
This is a single afternoon adventure.
This session will run 2 hours, and snacks will be provided.
