Roger Parkes - Don't Stop The Music

Following the success of their acclaimed 'Piano Man' and 'Electric Dreams' shows, Roger and his team of talented performers are, yet again, stepping up the pace with this ground-breaking live show.

Taking inspiration from the non-stop arrangements found on the albums of James Last from yesteryear, we've taken the concept to a new level, by arranging songs chronologically, thus demonstrating the evolution of music, right through the latter half of the 20th century.

Commencing our journey in 1955, we feature the advent of Rock 'n' Roll, then seamlessly travel, year by year, through the sights and sounds of the 60s and 70s, bringing Act I to a climactic close at the height of the beloved Disco era.

Then the nostalgia continues, as Act II weaves its way through the diverse genres that followed, such as the Ska, Electro, and 'Big Hair' Rock of the 80s and the Trance, Britpop and unforgettable Boy Band / Girl Band hits of the 90s.

The show's jam-packed setlist covers almost 100 songs, including timeless hits by. . .

Elvis Presley, The Beatles, ABBA, Michael Jackson and The Spice Girls.

Those who have experienced previous offerings from Roger Parkes Productions will already know that they can expect uniquely crafted musical arrangements, dynamic live instrument performances and beautifully delivered vocal harmony, all energized by expertly choreographed dance routines. Add to this a myriad of stunning visual effects and 'Don't Stop The Music' promises to deliver a truly encapsulating experience.

And that's not all - you'll also catch Roger's special request segment of the show, giving you the chance to play a part in the performance by choosing the songs you'd love to hear. This interactive 'human jukebox' element bravely breaks down the wall between performers and audiences, providing a level of interaction that's previously unheard of in theatre shows.

We pride ourselves on stepping outside the box - and we're confident that this show, like all our shows, will be unlike any live performance you've witnessed before.

Book your tickets now and join us on this roller coaster ride - and relive what is seen by so many as the golden era of music.
