Founder of Extinction Rebellion, Just Stop Oil Roger Hallam makes a rare and vital visit to Manchester. Roger will speak at 2 session in the Carlton Club Green Room. on the 21 November. Fyi
Roger Hallam is the most significant and polarising figure in contemporary British environmental politics.
His life illustrating the transition from environmental concern and academic research into a strategy of direct action intended to force political change.
Roger is willing to make substantial personal sacrifices in response to the distinct possibility of climate collapse, the in built temperature increase of 2 degrees and consequential death of 4 billion people. (Yeah, suck that up.)
He calls it as it is.
The reality being that when conventional political processes are inadequate to address major crisis, then substantial disruption and personal risk are justified by the scale of the climate emergency.
Come meet snd listen to the most important climate activist and the plans to resist the climate catastrophe.
