We are delighted to welcome back the Roddy Matthews Trio. No stranger to our club, Roddy has been involved in many broadcasts for BBC Take The Floor with five different bands over the years. He was greatly inspired by Farquhar Macrae and Fergie Macdonald as a youngster. He often brings us tunes from his native Northumberland and Borderslands too . Garry Alexander joins him on accordion. Garry runs “Clarinish “ a highly sought after ceilidh band for festivals events and weddings, playing regularly all over Scotland . Roddy and Garry have toured extensively together and have played here at Highland Club for us on previous occasions. Along with their drummer, Ian Anderson, it'll be a night to remember.
