Get ready to do the Time Warp again on Friday, October 17th for a rowdy interactive screening of Rocky Horror Picture Show in partnership with the La Crosse Community Theater! Please note this event is 18+ only!
Costumes are strongly encouraged and we would love for as many people as possible to dress in their best Dr. Frank-N-Furter inspired look in honor of the forever iconic and beloved Tim Curry.
Doors open at 9:00pm so arrive early to pick up your pre-ordered prop bag*, grab a specialty themed cocktail at concessions, and the show will start around 9:30pm after an introduction from our special guest MC from the La Crosse Community Theater!
Callbacks, singing, dancing, throughout the movie are all encouraged. Respect your neighbor and enjoy the show!
*PROP BAGS: NO outside props are permitted! Approved prop bags are available for pre-order when you purchase online, and there will be a limited number for sale day of with proceeds supporting LCT’s Lyche Education and Production Center. For the safety of this historic theater; please NO toast, rice, streamers, flame candles/lighters, hot-dogs, prunes, water guns, or anything that can cause damage or discoloration to wood & fabric.
The Rocky Horror Picture Show has always lived somewhere between film and live theatre—where what happens on the screen is only part of the show, and the audience becomes part of the performance. That makes Rocky Horror a perfect bridge between the Rivoli Theatre and La Crosse Community Theatre: two organizations dedicated to bringing people together through shared artistic experiences.
By purchasing a prop bag, you’re not only joining in the Rocky Horror tradition—you’re supporting LCT’s Lyche Education and Production Center (LEAP Center), a space that expands opportunities for theatre education, rehearsals, production, and community partnerships. Together, the Rivoli and LCT are helping ensure that the arts in La Crosse have the spaces they need to thrive.
