🎸🏴 ROCKIN’ & REELIN’ INTO 2027 🏴🎸BAD ACTRESS + TWEED — DOUBLE HEADLINER
What happens when full-throttle rock ’n’ roll collides with high-energy Scottish ceilidh rock?
We’re about to find out.
On Saturday 2nd January 2027, the Ex-Servicemen’s Club, Elgin plays host to a huge double-headliner as BAD ACTRESS and TWEED join forces for ROCKIN’ & REELIN’ INTO 2027!
🔥 BAD ACTRESS — THE ROCKIN’
Big riffs. Big vocals. Big hair. Bad Actress bring the swagger, attitude and raw energy of a proper live rock show. Expect guitars turned up, anthems flying and absolutely no easing gently into the New Year.
🪗 TWEED — THE REELIN’
Champion accordionist Graeme Mackay and drummer Craig Mackay take traditional Scottish music and give it a serious kick up the backside. Accordion meets pounding drums in Tweed’s trademark high-impact ceilidh rock — reels, jigs, Scottish favourites and a few surprises, delivered with the energy of a rock gig.
And yes… there’ll be dancing.
This isn't a traditional ceilidh followed by a rock band. The whole idea is to bring two musical worlds and two audiences together for one massive, fun night of live music.
Whether you arrive for the riffs, the reels, or a bit of both, we want everyone on the same dance floor by the end of the night.
