Join Run Your Race Volunteers for a fun morning at our Rock N Roll Water Station 03! We need 25-40 people!Set up and manage water station on the racecourse on Sunday, Jan. 17th. This station is located N. Scottsdale Rd northbound south Wilshire. Volunteers are needed from 6am to 9:30am. This station will serve half marathon athletes.
Shift description:
Rock 'n' Roll athletes go through a great deal of food and fluids during race day. Aid stations, where the athletes can obtain fluids while on the course, are an integral part of the race, and the spirit of an aid station reflects on the whole event. At the aid station, you may hand out Water, Gatorade, and food to athletes as they run by. This is a fast-paced area! Depending on the time of your shift, you may be asked to help with the set up for the area. At the end of the day, we ask that you stay until the Aid Station and area are packed up and cleaned up.
