On Tuesday, October 20th, Rochmon Record Club will converge at Caffe’ Lena 47 Phila Street, Saratoga Springs, to listen to, and learn about The Beatles “Past Masters – Non-Album Singles Part 1”.
EMI, The Beatles' master label, had a policy of not releasing songs they released as singles on albums. Therefore, many of The Beatle’s biggest hits were not available at 331/3 until Apple Records started releasing greatest hits packages. In total this came to 33 songs! The Beatles “Past Masters – Non-Album Singles” features what amounts to a greatest hits playlist of 23 songs all released from October 5, 1962 through July 7, 1967. Songs include “Love Me Do”, “She Loves You”, “Long Tall Sally”, “I Feel Fine”, “We Can Work It Out”, Day Tripper”, “Penny Lane”, “Strawberry Fields” and 15 more! As always, Rochmon will have some surprises in store!
Doors open at 6:30, and the show begins at 7 pm with a live audio & video presentation by Chuck Vosganian aka “Rochmon”. As always, Rochmon will have some surprises in store! These listening parties are designed to inform, engage, and help us hear familiar music in brand-new ways.
