RnB Back N Forth is a love letter to the R&B era that shaped us — reimagined as a live singalong experience for Vancouver.
A live R&B singalong with DJs, a band, dinner, and a room full of people who know every lyric.
This isn’t just another party.
It’s a curated return to the era that raised us.
RnB Back N Forth is an immersive night of 90s and early-2000s R&Band hip-hop — where DJ sets, live musicians, and the crowd move back and forth between the songs we grew up on.
Guiding the soundtrack is DJ Kidd, an OG selector respected for his deep knowledge of R&B culture. His sets aren’t random playlists — they’re intentional journeys. Seamless blends, timeless transitions, and the kind of flow that keeps the room locked in from the first record to the last slow jam.
Leading the live element is FARA — a Vancouver-raised R&B artist who grew up immersed in the genre and now brings that love of the culture to the stage alongside a collective of talented local musicians.
Throughout the night, DJ transitions melt directly into live instrumentation — creating moments where the crowd doesn’t just watch…
they sing 🎤
And if the moment calls for it, the mic may come to you.
Joining in is entirely voluntary — but always part of the spirit of the night.
Expect sing-along anthems from artists like Ja Rule, Ashanti, Usher, Aaliyah, and Mary J. Blige — flowing back and forth between R&B and hip-hop exactly how it was meant to be experienced.
This isn’t karaoke.

This is shared nostalgia with a pulse.

Doors open at 5:30 PM
Guests should arrive and be seated by 6:00 PM so the dinner service, DJ sets, and live band can begin smoothly.
