A mystery is afoot at a beauty pageant for It Girls and baddies, as two frenemies are caught in the middle of a nefarious plot to sabotage the show. Miss Congeniality meets The Substance. Written by Ariane Anindita Anantaputri, this show dives into ageism, beauty,
and the journey women go through to find and present themselves.
Come hear a new work in development and give feedback through specific, guided questions! This workshop is an opportunity for the playwright to hear their script aloud and get some thoughts on how to move forward, but also for artists to develop their dramaturgical voices.
ACCESSIBILITY
The BMO Theatre Centre is wheelchair accessible, and has physically accessible and gender-neutral washrooms.
