It's time for an epic adventure as RiverScape MetroPark presents Casper (1995) as part of the FREE RiverScape Reels series! MOVIE SUMMARY: The eternally irritable Carrigan Crittenden discovers that the only thing she's been left in her recently departed father's will is a rickety old mansion. Naturally, she is furious about this, until it is discovered that a treasure may be concealed somewhere in the mansion! But when it appears to be haunted by Casper "the friendly ghost" and his three ghostly uncles, Stretch, Fatso, and Stinkie, she brings in a ghost therapist named Dr. James Harvey and his daughter, Kat. Soon, a friendship develops between Casper and Kat as they try to save the mansion from the evil Carrigan.
Come as early as 6:30 p.m. and save a space under the pavilion, then enjoy the fall weather while joining in on a friendly ghost scavenger hunt, visiting the craft table, or playing yard games before the movie starts. Guests are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs or stretch out in a reserved seating area near the stage by bringing your own blankets and pillows. The RiverScape Cafe will also be open, with popcorn, sweet treats, flatbreads and more available to purchase. For those 21 and over, cocktails, wine and beer will also be available for sale as part of the Downtown Dayton DORA.
