Formed in Fayetteville, North Carolina in 2014, Rivermist has become one of the Southeast’s premier live entertainment bands, delivering an electrifying mix of Classic Rock, R&B, Pop, Variety, and Party Favorites that keeps audiences engaged from the first note to the final encore.
Comprised of five accomplished musicians with more than 200 years of combined professional performing experience, Rivermist brings exceptional musicianship, powerful lead vocals, dynamic harmonies, and an energetic stage presence that consistently leaves audiences wanting more.

FAQs
What time does the gate open?
Gates will open one hour prior to show time. There are three entrances located around the venue marked "PAY HERE." Exchange your ticket for an armband. Children 12 and under are admitted free for the 2027 summer series.
What are my parking options for the event?

Are food and drinks available?
Beer, wine, and food are available.
Coolers/picnic baskets are not permitted.
No outside alcoholic beverages are permitted.
Lawn chairs are recommended.
What is the refund policy?
Ticket sales are non-refundable.
Are Pets Allowed?
Certified service animals are permitted. Each service animal must remain with its owner and be restrained at all times.
What is the weather policy?
In the case of inclement weather, decisions to move the performance indoors will be made by the band no later than 5 pm on the day of the performance. It will be announced on the Blackmon Amphitheatre Facebook Page. Online ticket purchasers will receive notifications via email. If an event is relocated indoors, seating will be first-come, first-served due to limited capacity.
Are there public restrooms?
ADA-compliant public restrooms are located in the Arts Center, 215 Rockford Street, Mount Airy, NC 27030, and behind the amphitheater.
Where is smoking permitted?
Smoking is only permitted in the parking areas. There is no smoking permitted on the amphitheatre grounds or in the restrooms.

The venue is handicap accessible.
