WENDELL BRUNIOUS & THE NEW ORLEANS LEGENDSWednesday, November 11 · 7:30 PM · Manship Theatre
A homecoming for Louisiana jazz.
Trumpeter, vocalist, and bandleader Wendell Brunious was born into a storied New Orleans Creole musical family. He was once the youngest bandleader Preservation Hall had ever known, and in 2023 he became the first musical director in the Hall's entire history.
Joined by The New Orleans Legends, Brunious carries the living tradition of New Orleans jazz in everything he plays. Warm, joyful, and rooted in Louisiana, this is a night of the real thing from one of its truest keepers.
