About this Event
What is a Ritual Room?
Ritual Rooms brings people together for guided meditation in cafés, community spaces and unexpected places.
We supply silent disco headphones and light-blocking eye masks. You’ll hear your practitioner’s guidance and music through the headphones, while the eye mask removes visual distractions. Both stay on throughout the meditation so you can settle into the full experience.
Before we begin
Please arrive 10–15 minutes early to get settled, collect your equipment and meet your practitioner. Put your phone on silent and tuck it away before the session starts.
If you have any access requirements or questions about wearing the headphones and eye mask, contact the organiser beforehand.
New to meditation?
You’re welcome. Your practitioner will guide you throughout. There’s no special knowledge required and no expectation that you’ll suddenly have an empty mind. Noticing that you’ve drifted off and returning to the practice is part of meditation.
Our approach is secular and grounded in everyday experience. No religious beliefs are required.
Coming on your own? Come along — Ritual Rooms is also a chance to meet people in your local area, and you’re welcome to stay for a chat afterwards.
