Rita Bliss and her banjo are coming through Rochester to promote her new album, "One More Winter" (out 10/02). Described by Americana Highways as "just great American music", her set of original songs falls somewhere on the bluegrass-folk spectrum as she captures moments, memories, and history in honest lyrics set simply to old-time sounds. This is a homecoming for Bliss, who grew up in Fairport and now lives in Austin, TX. She will be joined by two local artists.
