*ENGLISH BELOW*Drie jaar van aanhoudende genocide in Gaza. Etnische zuivering op de Westelijke Jordaanoever. Bombardementen en gedwongen ontheemding in Libanon.
Wij veroordelen deze historische en morele verantwoordelijkheid en komen op straat voor rechtvaardigheid, vrijheid en zelfbeschikking voor het Palestijnse volk.
Solidariteit met Palestina vereist een vastberaden houding:
➡️Voor een totale boycot: cultureel, sportief en politiek, om Israël te isoleren en een einde te maken aan de bezetting.
➡️Maak een einde aan medeplichtigheid: wij eisen dat België zijn betrokkenheid beëindigt en onmiddellijk strenge sancties tegen Israël oplegt.
Gent komt op voor de bevrijding en zelfbeschikking van het Palestijnse volk. Jouw stem op straat maakt een verschil. Geen compromissen als het over de vrijheid van onderdrukte volkeren gaat!

Tijdens deze actie willen we samen een grote menselijke vlag van Palestina vormen, naar aanleiding van de oproep van de Nationale Palestinacoalitie. Daarvoor hebben we jouw hulp nodig! Kom dus zeker langs en help ons om samen een krachtige visuele actie neer te zetten. De organisatie voorziet gekleurde zakken en legt ter plaatse duidelijk uit hoe we de vlag vormen.
Naast de menselijke vlag wordt het programma verder aangevuld met speeches, muziek, zang en dabke. Ook zullen we samen de namen van slachtoffers borduren en de namen voorlezen van kinderen die sinds het zogezegde staakt-het-vuren van oktober 2025 zijn gedood door Israelische bombardementen.

We condemn this historical and moral responsibility and are taking to the streets for justice, freedom and self-determination for the Palestinian people.
Solidarity with Palestine requires a determined stance:
➡️ For a total boycott: cultural, sporting and political, in order to isolate Israel and put an end to the occupation.
➡️ End complicity: we demand that Belgium end its involvement and immediately impose strict sanctions on Israel.

During this action, we want to form a large human Palestinian flag together, following the call from the National Palestine Coalition. We need your help to do this! So please come along and help us create a powerful visual action together. The organizers will provide coloured bags and clearly explain on site how we will form the flag.
In addition to the human flag, the programme will include speeches, music, singing and dabke. We will also embroider the names of victims together and read aloud the names of children who have been killed by Israeli bombardments since the alleged ceasefire in October 2025.
