About this Event
AI posters feel generic, over-crowded and often bring in imagery that's way off brand. Many people are put off by AI designs, meaning your event won't sell.
In this 2 hour practical workshop, experienced graphic designer Cherry Anderson will share the steps a professional goes through when compiling a piece of visual marketing, enabling you to create your own poster with confidence and ease. The workshop is aimed at small businesses, sole-traders and comms creators wanting to avoid AI.
You'll need to bring a seed of an idea, the details of your event and be set up with Canva Pro before the workshop (and have a basic working knowledge of using it). We'll start with an overview of the key steps to poster creation, including what makes a successful image, information heirarchy, how to stay on brand, choosing and using fonts, colours and graphics, and then we'll put it into practice – you’ll work live together whilst Cherry circulates to give one-to-one guidance.
A designer for 25 years, Cherry Anderson has created for high street retailers, global organisations, universities and small businesses. She now specialises in supporting purpose-led and sustainable organisations. By sharing her knowledge and expertise she will take your businesses to the next level, bringing you credibility, authenticity and visilibity – making the world a better place through stunning design!
