The Rio Grande Valley Birding Festival returns to the Harlingen Convention Center November 11–15, 2026, drawing birders from around the world to one of North America’s richest birding destinations. Guided field trips, expert talks, workshops, the Birders Bazaar, and evening socials celebrate the Valley’s unique mix of wintering birds and tropical specialties—Green Jays, Great Kiskadees, and species found nowhere else in the U.S. Whether you’re a dedicated birder or simply love the RGV outdoors, this is a great chance to experience our wild side.
