BIO
Rinat Grigori (b. 1992) is a Czech photographer and visual artist based in London. His practice integrates digital and analogue photography with video, approaching his work as a holistic, unified space. He focuses on self-portraiture, the human figure, myths, folklore, and the transformation of the human body and face. His work has been featured in publications including the Italian edition of *Vogue*, and he has also released an artist’s book.
ALTAR
Rinat Grigori’s first major solo exhibition presents a cross-section of his work to date, situated at the intersection of photography, video, and bodily performativity. The exhibition *ALTAR* conceives of the image not as an isolated medium but as a building block within a broader visual constellation—one in which myths, folklore, the memory of places, and personal transformation intertwine. This selection of works reveals the artist’s conceptualisation of photography as an open dialogue between the image, the space, and the viewer’s body.
