About this Event
Are you interesting in community building, spending time outdoors, and pitching in conversation revolving local environmental concerns?
On November 1st, 2026, For Our Kids Richmond, Richmond Sue Big Oil volunteers, and Richmond Climate Hub will be hosting our second Richmond Climate Community House!
Join us from 3pm - 5pm for some hands-on conservation work and engaging environmental discussion. This event will be co-led by youth volunteers -- we encourage all youth to attend for opportunities to get involved in the leadership process as well!
Whether you're new to climate discussions or a seasoned activist, there's a spot for you here!
For this event, we also invite all participants to bring their own snacks to share, potluck style!
The event schedule will look roughly as follows:
- 3:00 - Meet in the Richmond Olympic Oval lobby
- 3:00 - 4:00 - Clean up litter along the River Road and the Richmond Dyke (amazing view!)
- 4:00 - 5:00 - Return back to Olympic Oval. Enjoy snacks and engage in casual & facilitated environmental discussion in the outdoor space.
