Starting point: for the full ride Kingwood Center Gardens at the back of parking lot
For the 24 mile option meet at the Lexington trailhead by the Lexington Community Park
For the 16 mile option meet at the parking lot for the Bellville Dog Park
Ride Description: This ride will be on a paved rail trail from Mansfield to Butler. It is partly shaded and partly open. We will start from the Kingwood Center and head north about 1 mile to circle the North Lake Park then begin our journey south. We will pause briefly in Lexington to use the restrooms and pick up any riders doing the 24 mile option. Continuing south we will stop by the Bellville dog park to pick up any riders doing the 16 mile option. In 8 more miles we will reach the end of the trail in Butler where we can take a short break to enjoy a packed lunch or snack. Then we return north to Kingwood Center.
