About this Event
Grab your closest girlfriends for a night out that you won’t regret the next day. This is an evening of honest money conversations, delicious drinks and canapés, and a room filled with women who are all there for the same reason - to back themselves and take control of their financial future.
You’ll walk away with practical steps to get started investing, and learn the lingo so you can feel comfortable tackling any money or investing conversation in the future.
Tickets are sold as a pair for $45 - this is designed for you to bring a friend, your sister, mum or colleague who’s forever saying she’ll “get into investing one day”. That way, you can support each other as you kickstart your investing journey - and always have a friend who you can speak openly with about money.

What to Expect
Jess Swindon, the host of Get Started Investing, will share her own story on the night - from becoming an investor for the first time in her 30s, what she wishes she knew sooner, and how you can get started too (yes, even if you reckon you've left it a bit late).
Then, Equity Mates presenter Ally Selby will sit down with the wonderful Diana Mousina (Deputy Chief Economist, AMP) to break down the basics of investing for the girlies - no assumed knowledge, no jargon, just the stuff that actually matters when you're finding your feet.
There’s no such thing as a dumb question. There’s no gatekeeping. This is a night of real talk about money: where to start, what to buy, what to ignore, and how to actually get your savings working for you.
