Join Sawdust Studios and The Joinery Project for an afternoon of sawdust, cocoa, and giving back! We’re cutting the ribbon on The Store at Sawdust Studios with the Columbia Chamber of Commerce at 3:30 PM, and then we’re firing up the saws. All afternoon, our woodshop volunteers will be building wooden toy cars for St. Raymond’s Society and the Ronald McDonald House. Come watch them take shape, grab a hot cocoa, enjoy the music, and stay as long as you like.
It’s also a chance to meet The Joinery Project, a new Columbia nonprofit making woodworking more accessible through scholarships, education, and community. Whether you’ve never picked up a saw or you’ve been building for years, there’s a place for you.
