About this Event
💀 SKELETONS IN YOUR CLOSET 💀
We’ve all got them.
The ex we don’t mention. The phase we pretend didn’t happen. The family story that gets suspiciously quiet halfway through. The thing we did in 2009 that occasionally returns at 2am to remind us it happened.
This October, we’re dragging it all into the light.
And joining us as our headliner is Stu Freestone — performance poet, storyteller, co-founder of York’s Say Owt and author of The Lights That Blur Between. Stu’s poetry moves between love, loss, growing up, getting things wrong and finding the funny in all of it. He’s appeared on BBC platforms and shared stages with Shane Koyczan and Hollie McNish.
Bring us your ghosts, your secrets, your questionable former selves — or an actual poem about a skeleton. We’re not fussy.
