🎬 Experience the excitement of Rez Ball on the big screen!Join us on Monday, November 9, for a special screening of Rez Ball, presented in partnership with the CLAW Program at the College of Charleston as part of the 30th Annual Native American Indian Film & Video Festival of the Southeast.
Inspired by the acclaimed novel Canyon Dreams, Rez Ball follows a Native American high school basketball team as they navigate grief, determination, community, and the pursuit of a state championship. More than a sports film, it is a powerful story of resilience, identity, family, and the strength found within Native communities.
Following the film, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a discussion exploring the themes of the movie, Native representation in film, and the importance of authentic Indigenous storytelling.
Join us as we continue celebrating 30 years (1996–2026) of the Native American Indian Film & Video Festival of the Southeast, bringing Indigenous stories, filmmakers, and perspectives to audiences across South Carolina.
