REVOLUTIONISING FAMILY LAW:
SUPPORTING CLIENTS THROUGH THE TRAUMA OF THE FAMILY COURT WITH A UNIQUE EMOTIONAL TOOLKIT
This event will focus Dad's House Family Law Clinic's trauma informed approach to practising family law.
After the main discussion there will be a Q&A session for attendees, then networking.
The key themes of 25th Anniversary of Pro Bono Week below are below:
- Celebrate the legal profession’s long tradition of pro bono, and reflect on 25 years of sector progress in supporting access to justice.
- Inspire lawyers to action pro bono going forward, by showcasing both how pro bono impacts lives and has professional benefits.
- Discuss how pro bono should be delivered over the next 25 years to address unmet needs in a changing legal landscape.
This event will focus on the family law with in the private child jurisdiction.
This event will also discuss how the power of pro bono will help you develop your career. This can be discussed within the context of Dad's House Family Law Clinic and how in person clinics where students attend learn client skills, case management, conferences skills and understand the law in practice from both solicitors and barristers.
