YOUTH WEEK 2026
Over the past 8 weeks, a group of young artists from our Navigators programs have been building something bigger than a song.
In response to Ara Taiohi’s Youth Week theme, “Our voices matter, we deserve to be heard”, AKL MADZ (18yrs), Ty (20yrs), BRDG3 (23yrs) and pRieZt (18yrs) came together to create the official Youth Week Anthem 2026: "REVOLUTION" ✊🏽
Mentored by Tom Scott & Haz Beats from Homebrew, with vocal mentoring from Hari and PR/media mentoring from Bev Adair, the project has been completely youth-led from concept to creation.
Over the past two months, the artists have written, recorded and refined the track, shot an official music video with Camden (22yrs), documented the whole journey with Tenaya (22yrs) from Parallel Layers, and recorded the final version at Big Pop Studios — with the final mix completed by AKL MADZ (18yrs).
Now it’s time to share it.

Info: As part of the revolutionary process, we encourage everyone to make posters and signs in support of the artists and the change you want to see in the world.

Info: Our very own Ty (featured artist) will have a hāngī stall at the entrance. Taking cash or bank transfers on the night.

Info: Come and watch an exclusive documentary of the creative process featuring Tom Scott & Haz Beats (Homebrew) & the official music video filmed, directed and edited by Camden, @camdak.g (22yrs).

Info: Following the screening, enjoy some live music from each of the featured artists, including a live performance of the 2026 Official Youth Week Anthem "Revolution".
