Reverse co-ed 2s! Bring a partner and play on a 2s sized court - women hit front row, men hit behind 10 ft line.$20/person to play ($40/pair). Payout will be $100/person ($200 total) MINIMUM for 1st place with potential prizes for 2nd depending on total numbers. The more pairs, the higher the payout.
Start time will be 9:00 am sharp at Bicentennial Park in Livonia. I will have a live sheet with pools the morning of the tournament to make tracking scores easier.
Rules:
- No set over
- Guys can jump serve
- Guys must start their approach behind 10 foot line; hits started in front of the 10 foot can’t be hard driven
- Open hand tips not allowed
- No directional blocking
- Blocks do not count as a touch
- Open hand serve receive IS allowed, overhand receiving hard driven balls IS allowed, anything else taken with hands must be clean (discretion of working team). Hard driven = ball has a downward trajectory after being contacted
- Guys can’t soft block
- Serves can hit net
- No courtesy unless teams agree to it
- Announce you’re serving before you serve to avoid arguments!
