Reuben and the Dark | November 12 at Geomatic Attic 🌙Reuben and the Dark are coming to the Geomatic Attic on November 12!
Frontman and Calgary songwriter Reuben Bullock has built a career writing songs that search for light in impossible places. Across five albums, he’s transformed grief, endurance and hope into expansive, cathartic anthems that have connected with audiences around the world.
The band’s newest album, If You Know Me You Know My Brother, marks an especially personal chapter for Bullock. Written over more than a decade and completed following the death of his older brother, the record explores childhood, family, addiction, forgiveness, grief and the ways love continues long after loss.
While earlier Reuben and the Dark records often looked outward—to nature, spirituality and the search for belonging—this one begins at home. The result is some of Bullock’s most intimate and emotionally resonant songwriting yet.
Since the release of their 2014 debut Funeral Sky, Reuben and the Dark have toured extensively across North America and Europe, shared stages with artists including Mumford & Sons, Vance Joy, Boy & Bear and Leif Vollebekk, and had their music featured in Grey’s Anatomy, Game of Thrones, Heartland and El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie.
Now they're bringing these new songs—and the big, soaring sound they're known for—to Lethbridge.
