Restore is a deeply restful class combining gentle, reclined yoga, restorative yin, myofascial release and supported postures to help you unwind and reconnect with your body.
We’ll move slowly through calming postures, releasing tension and allowing the body to soften, before settling into a guided Yoga Nidra practice and the soothing vibrations of a sound bath.
This is time to step away from the demands of everyday life and give yourself permission to do less. There’s nothing to achieve, nowhere else to be and no expectation to keep up.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need yoga experience?
Not at all. Restore is suitable for beginners and experienced students alike. There are no complicated sequences to learn, and the focus is on rest rather than physical effort.
What is restorative yin yoga?
Restorative yin combines slow, supported postures with longer periods of stillness. Props help you settle comfortably, allowing you to soften into each position without forcing or stretching deeply.
What is myofascial release?
Myofascial release uses gentle techniques to work with tension in the body's connective tissues. In class, this may include simple techniques using props to support comfort and release.
What is Yoga Nidra?
Often called yogic sleep, Yoga Nidra is a guided meditation practised lying down. You’re invited to rest comfortably while following gentle verbal guidance into a state of deep relaxation. You don’t need to do anything or have any meditation experience.
What is a sound bath?
A sound bath uses the sounds and vibrations of instruments to create an immersive, relaxing experience. You can lie back, get comfortable and simply listen.
Do I need to bring anything?
Please bring your own yoga mat and wear comfortable, warm clothing. All other props are provided. If you need a mat just pop me a message and I can arrange that for you.
Is this a physically demanding class?
No. Restore is a gentle, restful practice with very little physical exertion. The focus is on supported postures, stillness and relaxation rather than strength or fitness.
Can I come if I’m feeling stressed or overwhelmed?
Absolutely. You don’t need to arrive feeling calm. This is a space where you can come exactly as you are and take some time for yourself.
Can I come on my own?
Of course. Restore is held in a welcoming, intimate setting, and you’re very welcome to come on your own.
