That 3pm crash. The second (or fourth!) coffee. Lying awake at 2am with your mind running, then dragging yourself through the next day.Sleep is the foundation of everything. After a good night, you wake up feeling like anything's possible. After a bad one - especially night after night - everything feels harder, and it wears you down completely.
Most of us assume sleep comes down to what happens at bedtime. But deep, restorative sleep is shaped by your whole day, and blood sugar plays a big part - the steady (or not-so-steady) fuel supply that drives your energy, your mood, your focus and how well you sleep at night.
Restored: Energy & Deep Sleep is a hands-on, in-person workshop that connects the dots. You'll learn:
-Why afternoon crashes and middle-of-the-night waking are often connected
-How your first meal of the day, morning light and movement shape your energy for the next 24 hours
-Simple, nourishing shifts that steady your blood sugar - no restriction, no rigid rules
-What your body needs to fall asleep, stay asleep and wake up energized
Then we'll move out of your head and into your body with somatics - body-based practices, including breathwork and yin yoga, that shift your system out of stress mode and into rest and repair. You can know everything about sleep and still lie awake if your body doesn't feel safe enough to let go.
You'll leave understanding what's driving your energy and sleep, with practical changes you can start that same evening.
No experience needed, and everyone is welcome. Every practice can be adapted to different bodies and fitness levels. Only 10 spaces available, so everyone gets real attention.
What to bring: comfortable clothing, a water bottle, a yoga mat if you have one, notebook and pen (handout is provided)
