About this Event
This comprehensive training equips community organizers, advocates, and justice workers with the knowledge and skills needed to implement transformative justice practices in their communities. Participants will learn to facilitate healing-centered approaches that address harm while building stronger, more connected communities.
The training combines interactive workshops, role-playing exercises, and case study analysis. Topics include understanding trauma-informed approaches, designing community accountability processes, facilitating difficult conversations, building stakeholder coalitions, and measuring program impact. Experienced practitioners will share real-world examples and challenges from their organizing work.
This training is designed for community organizers, social workers, educators, advocates, faith leaders, and anyone committed to transforming how we respond to conflict and harm. No prior experience with transformative justice is required, though participants should come ready to engage deeply with challenging material.
Free will offerings are welcome.
