An evening of deep exploration, elemental balance and rest.Join us at Prana Wellbeing Center for a 90-minute experience combining Yin Yoga and auricular acupuncture, followed by Yoga Nidra.
Drawing inspiration from the Five Elements and the relationship between body and nature, this experience brings Yin Yoga and auricular acupuncture together in an exploration of sensation, balance and restoration.
YIN YOGA & AURICULAR ACUPUNCTURE
Two practices, one integrated experience.
Yin Yoga invites us into longer-held, floor-based postures, exploring form, sensation and the body's deeper tissues. Through stillness and sustained, appropriate stress, we create space to encounter our physical limits, soften unnecessary effort and explore the body's capacity for release.
Evita will integrate auricular acupuncture into our practice. In Traditional Chinese Medicine the ear is understood as a microsystem that mirrors the whole body.
For this session, specific auricular acupuncture points have been carefully selected to balance the five elements — Earth, Water, Fire, Wood and Metal — and the organ systems they represent. The aim is to harmonise these interconnected elements, supporting physical and emotional wellbeing
Together, Yin Yoga and auricular acupuncture offer complementary approaches to body awareness and restoration. Ear seeds are available as an alternative to acupuncture needles.
YOGA NIDRA
The evening concludes with Yoga Nidra, guided by Nina — a practice of conscious rest using body awareness and breath to invite deep relaxation.
