About this Event
Berlin never sleeps, and we carry the city’s pulse in our nervous systems. Even when we physically stop, our bodies are still buzzing, our thoughts racing and true rest feels out of reach. We often try to cope by soothing ourselves with convenient food, substances or digital content - things that are great at removing our attention from ourselves, but that keep us in a constant state of alertness & eventually fatigue. If this feels familiar, this session is for you.
Rest for the Restless is a bi-weekly, 1-hour guided practice that opens space for deep rest through movement, sound, breath, and stillness.
The session begins with gentle movement to help release built-up tension. From there, we explore simple sound-making and breathing to support regulation and presence. Having calmed the body and centered the mind, we then enter into an open space of rest, held by dim lights, soothing tea and soft, supportive materials.
Rest for the Restless offers an accessible and welcoming space where rest can happen naturally, without pressure or expectations. A place to slow down, feel supported, and reconnect with a quieter inner rhythm.
Come as you are, leave a little less wired.
About the facilitator

His teaching approach can be described as simple, holistic, playful & heart-centered.
