About this Event
A fantastic opportunity specifically for professional workers and volunteers involved with domestic cats and cat behaviour, such as rangers, other Council staff, veterinarians, animal welfare groups and wildlife rescue groups. Dr Heather Crawford, leading cat behaviouralist, is travelling from WA to teach staff, volunteers and the community about the intricacies of cat behaviour, enrichment, and how to keep cats safe and happy at home. This session will help to navigate some of the challenges NSW faces in promoting responsible cat ownership in our communities.
This session will take place in the Banksia Room at Eurobodalla Regional Botanic Gardens, and will also showcase examples of netting, enclosures and catios which residents can use to safely contain their cats at home.
Bookings are essential due to limited places. To secure your place, please book by Wednesday 14th October. Morning tea will be provided.
