ReSound: Music for Voices, Instruments and Pipe Organ
Voices meet strings, brass, percussion, and the power of the pipe organ in ReSound— a concert marking The Ridgefield Chorale's 50th Anniversary.
Each song pairs voices with a unique, vibrant mix of instruments, creating a sound-palette ranging from the intimate strum of a guitar to the wall-shaking power of the pipe organ. Composers include Ysaÿe M. Barnwell, G.F. Handel, Elvis Costello, James Whitbourn, Sarah Quartel, André Thomas, and others. Experience the variety of styles and vocal traditions that have been the signature of the Chorale for five decades.
ReSound celebrates where we started: in a church, with voices and instruments. The rest of the 2026-2027 season will take you to the Ridgefield Playhouse on Sunday, December 6th for our annual Holiday Pops Concert and Holiday Children’s Concert, and in Spring 2027, we will launch into the Chorale’s next 50 years with Solid Gold.
