About this Event

Rukh Art Hub presents Resonant Light, a group exhibition bringing together five international artists: Bernard Tirtiaux, Shaul Tzemach, Roman Minin, Olena Morozova, and Alexej Sachov.
Opening in the Marais during Art Basel Paris week, Resonant Light explores the relationships between light, matter, memory, technology, nature, and perception.
Drawing in part on Gaston Bachelard’s thinking on the poetic image, the exhibition brings together five distinct practices that begin with something difficult to hold onto: a shift in light, a memory, an intuition, a fragment of code, a material trace, a moment in nature. Through the artist’s attention, these almost imperceptible signals acquire form and become something that can be transmitted to another person.
The artist becomes an amplifier: receiving, transforming, and passing something on. Light becomes sculpture. Code becomes matter. Memory becomes image. The viewer’s attention completes this circuit of resonance.
At a moment when images can be generated almost instantaneously, Resonant Light asks what remains distinctly human in the creation of meaning. None of the works in the exhibition were created using generative AI. Instead, the exhibition turns toward our capacity to notice, experience, remember, transform, and transmit.
