Exploratorium’s Resonance series is thrilled to feature acclaimed saxophonist, composer, and improviser Cole Pulice. During this one-of-a-kind performance, Pulice’s music will be transmitted between Pier 15 and the TANK Center for Sonic Arts in Rangely, Colorado, an iconic seven-story water tank renowned for its natural reverberation.After allowing the sound to bloom within this unique space, the music will then be projected back to our Kanbar Forum, where it will be transformed through our state-of-the-art 72-channel Meyer Sound Constellation system. The audience will be enveloped in a sonic environment like no other, blending space, time, and sound.
