Looking for a unique way to trim the tree this holiday season? Skip the store-bought ornaments and get creative with us at our hands-on ornament workshop!Malissa Kelsey of MADE by MK will guide you step-by-step in designing and creating a set of six beautiful hanging ornaments. From glitter and pigments to holiday-themed molds, you'll have a range of options to make each piece uniquely yours. Feel free to bring some small personal elements to add more sentiment to your creations.
Beginners welcome--no previous resin experience needed! Your ornaments will be ready to pick up the next day after curing overnight. $40 includes all materials, supplies, protective equipment and live instruction ($34 for 567 members). Open to ages 14 & up. Saturday, November 21, 6:00-8:30 pm. Registration closes November 19.
Though the risks are minimal, by registering for this class, you are assuming the risk of exposure to resin and will not hold The 567 Center or the instructor responsible for any adverse reaction experienced from a resin allergy. Participants will be provided with masks and nitrile gloves.
You must return during business hours to pick up your project. The gallery is open Monday-Friday, 11 am-4 pm. Please contact The 567 if other project retrieval options are needed.
