Join us for a day of training, reflection and skills development, designed by heritage professionals, for heritage professionals.
About this Event

Drawing on innovative heritage research from the University of Hertfordshire’s DHeritage Programme, this training day will explore how heritage professionals can develop long-lasting careers in a rapidly changing sector.

We’ll explore what challenges professionals face when developing resilient careers, and you’ll have the chance to reflect on your own strengths and the skills you need to develop further.

Led by expert speakers from across the University and the sector, we’ll consider what the future of heritage careers looks like and what organisations need to do to support their staff.

Through practical exercises and discussion, you’ll develop a strong professional identity and create an action plan with clear goals for your career.

Whatever stage you’re at, and whatever you’re thinking of doing next, this is the perfect opportunity to pause, reflect and learn from other professionals and leading researchers in their field.

Refreshments will be provided throughout the day.
