About this Event

From Research to Real-World Impact: How to engage with industry in Health & Society

Ready to bridge the gap between academic research and real-world impact? Are you an early career researcher looking to increase the impact of your work beyond academia?

Join fellow researchers for an interactive workshop focused on building meaningful partnerships with organisations working across health, wellbeing, social care and community development. Through practical activities, case studies and expert insights, participants will explore how to identify and engage potential industry partners, communicate research effectively to non-academic audiences and recognise opportunities for collaboration and funding.

Funded by Research England through the DBAA Research Group, this session will help academics understand how their expertise can contribute to solving real-world challenges while creating new pathways for research impact and career development.

Who should attend? Early career researchers, research staff and academics interested in health, wellbeing, society and social innovation.

All reasonable transport costs will be covered by the organiser. Lunch and refreshments will be available during the event.
