ReproJam - Bad Queer Poetry + Q&A


Reproductive rights are under attack and it’s a challenging to time be conducting research and working within the sector. ReproJam is a night aimed at students working within the reproductive rights, reproductive health and reproductive space to come together to jam, relax and network.

For our first event author of Bad Queer, Gayathiri Kamalakanthan will in conversation with GHSM PhD Student and author of Divided Dr Annabel Sowemimo. Gayathiri will also share some of their poetry.

Gayathiri is a Tamil writer based in London . They are interested in how language shapes belonging and how we may use it shaper freer futures. Gayathiri's play 'Period Parrrty' is a trans Tamil rom-com and debuted at the Soho theatre in October 2025 . Their debut novel Bad Queer is out with Faber.
