Your report will testify before you ever open your mouth. Is it ready?Strong investigations depend on strong documentation, and knowing how to present your case in court is just as important as knowing how to investigate it.
Join Humane Educators of Texas for Report Writing and Courtroom Practices, hosted by Pearland Animal Services at the Pearland Police Department on December 3!
This full-day course is designed to help animal control officers and other animal welfare professionals strengthen their report-writing skills, improve case documentation, and prepare for courtroom testimony. We will cover the importance of clear, thorough, and defensible reports, common documentation pitfalls, courtroom preparation, and the skills needed to communicate your findings effectively when your cases go before a judge.
Because a great investigation can be undermined by a poorly written report or unprepared testimony, this class will help you build the skills and confidence to support your cases from the initial investigation through the courtroom.
