About this Event
Inspection negotiation workshop — practical tactics to craft repair requests that get accepted and keep deals moving. Free CE credit and lunch; Wednesday, Oct. 15, 11:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m., Nashville Entrepreneur Center (41 Peabody St.).
Repair Requests Done Right is a focused, practical CE session that walks agents through the high-stakes moment when inspection findings become negotiation flashpoints. Expect a clear, action-oriented approach to drafting repair requests that are persuasive without being confrontational, helping preserve deals and professional relationships.
Under instructor Aaron Schroer you will learn how to triage an inspection report, distinguish worthy repair asks from goodwill-draining demands, and decide when a credit is a better solution than a repair. The class emphasizes wording and tone so requests invite agreement rather than provoke a defensive response.
The program combines a short industry trends briefing, an interactive networking round robin, and a Q&A segment so you can test techniques and get immediate feedback. Free CE credits are provided, lunch will be served, and the course carries TREC number 122301 for credential tracking at the end of the session.
This event is ideal for buyer agents, listing agents, brokers, and transaction coordinators who want to reduce deal friction and close more transactions. You will leave with concrete drafting strategies, a checklist for sorting inspection items, and communication tactics that keep both sides engaged until the closing table.
