A hands-on mending workshop exploring repair, craftsmanship, and conscious living through fashion, community, and shared learning.
About this Event

What if caring for our clothes became an act of caring for ourselves, our communities, and the world around us?

Join us for Repair & Renew, an intimate, hands-on workshop exploring visible mending as both a practical skill and a philosophy of conscious living, in collaboration with Jaunaii Studios and LIARA Creative Studio.

Rooted in the belief that our belongings deserve care, this workshop invites participants to slow down, reconnect with their clothing, and explore the value of craftsmanship through repair. We believe meaningful change begins through shared learning, community, and a deeper understanding of the choices we make.

During this workshop, participants will learn foundational mending techniques while reflecting on the stories our garments carry and what it means to build a more intentional relationship with what we wear.

Workshop skills include:
• How to thread a needle
• Sewing on a button and creating a buttonhole
• Invisible repairs
• Patchwork techniques
• Basic hemming

Bring a garment that needs a little love, an open mind, and a willingness to learn. <3

Repair & Renew is the first in an ongoing series of Atelier Renew experiences exploring fashion as a gateway to conversations centred on sustainability, health, culture, and conscious living.
