Join us at St John’s Church for a peaceful remembrance service as part of Light up a Life 2026.For many of us, the festive season is a time to gather with loved ones, so when you have lost someone you love, we know this time of year can feel particularly daunting.
Through our Light up a Life gatherings, we invite you to celebrate their life, your way.
There will be readings, hymns, and time for reflection. You can also light a candle, and, if you wish, make a dedication in memory of someone special to you.
Light up a Life is for everyone. Your loved one did not need to have been cared for by St Margaret’s for you to attend. Whoever you are remembering, you will be welcomed.
Booking is not required to attend this free service. However, we would appreciate it if you let us know you will be attending to help us plan ahead and make sure everyone has enough space, seating and accessibility support.
