About this Event
As autumn settles across the woodland and nature begins its quiet descent towards winter, we invite you to join us for a deeply reflective Forest Bathing experience in the peaceful grounds of the Harry Edwards Foundation.
Now in our fourth year of holding this special annual gathering on Remembrance Sunday, this session offers a gentle space to pause, reflect, and reconnect—with nature, with ourselves, and with those who have touched our lives.
Beginning at 11:00am, we honour the national moment of remembrance with two minutes of silence beneath the trees, allowing the woodland to hold us in stillness and quiet reflection.
From there, we journey slowly through the autumn woodland, awakening the senses through mindful nature invitations, earthy scents, birdsong, and the rich colours of the season. Our experience culminates in a peaceful “treelaxation” nature meditation, preceded by a warming woodland tea.
Inspired by the Japanese practice of Shinrin-Yoku, this restorative experience supports calm, clarity, emotional balance, and overall wellbeing.
Led by Joanna Bristow-Watkins and Katie Robinson of Harmony in Nature.
