Welcome to La Cour de L'Imperatrice; a Brand New Pop-Up High Tea Service in Sidney, British Columbia. This is our signature soft launch event to introduce you to our specialized Remembrance Day Annual Afternoon Tea service and to give you a chance to meet the brains and creative drive behind this new business venture as we build our clientele before selecting our flagship location in Sidney.
Join us for an intimate afternoon tea in the historic Sidney Museum. The event takes place in the lower gallery, surrounded by the museum’s feature display; "A Seat at the Table" which beautifully illustrates the stories of Chinese Canadians settling into British Columbia and here in Sidney, surrounded by timeless artifacts, beautiful pieces of history and meaningful stories of entrepreneurs from the past, specific to the restaurants, bakeries and tea house traditions carefully curated and woven into the lives of Canadians; thus creating a reflective and meaningful atmosphere, as we embark on our own adventure and journey into Entreprensurship.
The menu is carefully curated by a Red Seal Pastry Chef, ensuring a delightful culinary experience. Your ticket includes all menu items as well as museum admission and donation.
