In 2025, Remaining Native won the Jury Award for Best Feature Documentary at the Anchorage International Film Festival. Due to the incredible response, we’re coming back to Anchorage for an encore screening on November 9th at the Bear Tooth Pub Theatre starting at 6 PM.The event will serve as a fundraiser bringing together Indigenous communities, run clubs, and youth groups to support a four-stop Run Camp & Film Tour across Alaska in the Summer of 2027 as part of the film’s impact campaign and mission to create a holistic space for Native Youth that celebrates the power of running, connection to land, and the vital role of Indigenous storytelling.
