Local writer Andy Smart releases his poetry collection, Murderer (Unsolicitied Press, 2026), a searing poetry collection that confronts personal and American trauma through memory, labor, faith, and loss. Andy Smart examines the “murder of reality” in poems shaped by a father’s suicide, working-class survival, and fractured national mythologies. Fierce, irreverent, and unflinching, the collection sings for those still searching for truth in the wreckage. Joining Andy will be fellow local writers Holly Sinclair, author of Millennial Artifacts (Red Flag Poetry, 2024) and Jared C. Lewis, author of Quarantine Chronicles Volume 1 (LouPrint Press, 2021).
Doors at 7:00, poetry at 7:30. No cover.
